Anatomy of Solutions Marketer - Online Survey Results:
Solutions Insights conducted the first-ever study of Solutions Marketers last month and we were very pleased with the number of responses we received. We initiated this study, which was jointly sponsored by ITSMA and 3 other associations and universities, because we have a deep interest in understanding the capabilities, competencies, roles and responsibilities of solutions marketers.
After carefully reviewing all of survey submissions to ensure that everyone either had a Solutions Marketing title or worked in a Solutions Marketing department or group, we ended up with over 133 qualified survey participants representing over 125 companies - most of them with revenues greater than $5 billion.
