Ana Volpi is an Associate of Solutions Insights specializing in market research for the high tech and financial services sectors. She has recently worked for clients such as Adobe Systems and Nokia. With 15+ years of experience, Ana's areas of expertise are competitive research, competitive analysis and market sizing for both mature and emerging market segments. She also works with our clients to help them craft targeted messages and materials that are based upon the research results. Prior to becoming an independent contractor, Ana held a variety of analyst and management positions at IDC, a global leader in technology market research. She holds a degree in international relations from Tufts University.
Shyam Velumani, Senior Consultant: Shyam has more than 7 years of experience working with technology, manufacturing, CPG and healthcare industries in USA and Asia helping them set up the marketing strategies for product launch, product marketing, worldwide distribution and branding. His marketing experience accounts from working with multi-national corporations including IBM, Syntel, Procter & Gamble, BCBS, Trizetto, Humana and with a couple of start-ups in India. He recently completed a project for P&G FutureWorks developing a new market entry strategy for its services business focusing on developing economies.
In addition, Shyam spent a couple of years in a Marketing and Business Development management position for Excel, a privately owned textile machinery manufacturer where he worked in new product launches, implemented a CRM program increasing accountability and initiated a few marketing campaigns for the brand awareness of the company in form of print media, email, local advertising.
He has a Google Analytics Individual Qualification and consults clients by building digital marketing strategies for their businesses. Having gained his Social Media Marketing certification and with hands on experience with new technologies and digital marketing, he introduced a few clients in the digital/social world.
Shyam received his Honors Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Anna University in Chennai, India. He has also received his MBA with Marketing major from the Hult International Business School in Boston, MA.
