Nikki Fisher, Principal
As a marketing and sales executive at pioneering companies in telecommunications, mobile technology and Internet consulting, Nikki Fisher gained deep, hands-on experience in developing, marketing and delivering successful market-based solutions.
Before joining Solutions Insights in 2011, Fisher was President of The Fisher Group where she specialized in helping B2B companies improve the effectiveness, customer focus and integration of their sales, marketing and service functions. Strategic projects include helping a multinational company develop a detailed strategy and roadmap to transform itself from a product reseller to a services/solutions business; designing and delivering solutions training for all customer-facing employees at an IT services firm; and creating a new solutions-development process for a Fortune 50 telecommunications company.
As a Senior Associate at ITSMA, Nikki has provided solutions consulting to a number of clients including Dimension Data, Avaya, Nortel and Verizon. Nikki was also the principal ITSMA consultant to Xerox Global Services as that company built it’s award-winning ABM program.
Nikki began her career at MCI where she held a variety of marketing positions before she was tapped to lead the in-house litigation support group for MCI’s industry-changing antitrust suits against AT&T. Later, Nikki became the company’s first female VP, heading up marketing, customer service, and other functions for MCI’s cellular subsidiary.
After nearly ten years at MCI, Nikki was recruited to become a member of the leadership team at Sprint’s startup cellular venture. There, after turning around an ailing sales organization, she was tapped by the CEO to lead all customer service and operations support. As a Marketing VP in Sprint’s business-to-business long distance division, Nikki subsequently implemented industry-leading processes and systems that transformed the firm’s sales compensation and database marketing activities.
In 1996, Fisher joined Internet services pioneer Sapient where, as CMO, she created Sapient’s marketing, strategic planning and alliance functions. In addition to an active consulting practice, Nikki currently leads a quarterly High-Growth CEO Forum® in Chicago for leaders of rapidly-growing investor-backed technology companies.
